WOW!  I have always heard that as one grows older, time speeds up.  I am having trouble dealing with this personally, but the end of 2009 is upon us.  God has been good to me this year in the Southeast Area.  In looking back on this year, here are the lives that He has allowed me to be involved in and the places where the extraordinary (God) meets the ordinary (me):

Total # of Huddles:  27 active huddles
Total # of Coaches:  52 coaches (this is not including coaches not associated with FCA)
Total # of OW2P Commits:  134
Total # of Faith Commits:  112
As you can see, God is proving Himself faithful!

Here are some quotes from the people I serve:

Without FCA, I would not know what I know about God and His Word.  FCA has influenced my life in a positive, eternal way.” – Jose, Waxahachie HS Sr.

FCA is the place where I decided to follow Jesus Christ.  I want other students to have that same life-changing opportunity.” – Al, Parent

FCA is the ministry that God lets me be a part of for the campus I coach at.  I get to see what He does  He does in student’s lives.  He is the one that makes the impact, I just get them together.” – Chris, Huddle Coach

Spiritual Goals for the Southeast Area:

1.       It is my prayer that I would get to see over 200 students/coaches come to know Jesus Christ.

2.       It is my prayer that we would be able to disciple coaches on an ongoing basis through the tools of R12 or Legacy Builders.

Community Goal:

1.      I would like to start 2 adult chapters this year.   Target communities:  Kaufman & Mesquite

We have coaches and athletes that are hurting and they are looking for answers.  I feel like my responsibility to them is to help them find the answers they are looking for in Christ.  I have been working for over one year at building relationships and am starting to see some results from both coaches and athletes alike.  It is my responsibility to influence and impact as many coaches and athletes with the Gospel of Jesus Christ that I possibly can.
