Campus Ministry Game Plan

Our Goal is to have trained and committed coaches & student leaders in place to lead Huddle Groups at their local school.

"FCA Camp was a blast! I now feel equipped to efficiently run my huddle at my school. It was an amazing experience and God did some amazing things." Zach - Plano (Leadership Camp attendee)

It is in the Huddle Group on campus where student-athletes can learn to deal with peer pressure, hold each other accountable, be given opportunities to do community outreach projects, commit to staying drug and alcohol free (OneWay2Play-Drug Free!) and know what it is like to serve Christ “even on campus”.   Greater Dallas FCA staff has recommitted their efforts to providing the best resources available for Huddle Coaches and Student Huddle Leaders to accomplish this goal.

Mike Noack serves as our Campus Ministry leader and is assisted by Chauncey Franks.

~ Letter from a parent on Fields of Faith FCA event ~

Hi Coach Jackson!

I have been trying to find the time to email you to let you know what an encouragement Fields of Faith was to our family. We tried to find you afterwards, but couldn't (you may have been counseling). Although we did see Coach Thomas. He's such a dear family friend.

I was reminded of Paul's words to Timothy, "Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe". We were all encouraged by the students' passion for Christ and we were all challenged by their testimonies.

I also have to let you know of a story (I'll try to make it brief!). I had sent an email out to several friends, inviting them to the event. It's interesting b/c one of my friends couldn't sleep the night before the event and was up at 3:00 am checking email and ran across the email and said...I think we (her and her daughter) need to go to that event. So the next day after school, she told her daughter that they needed to attend the event. So they did (they are friends of ours from church). And, as they were driving home from the event, my friend's daughter received a text message from one of her friends saying, I think I want to be saved. Well, she immediately went home, grabbed her Bible, and went over to her friend's house. As it turned out, her friend did not get saved that night, but asked lots of good questions, and my friend's daughter had a chance to minister to her. And the neat thing is, my friend and her daughter testify to the impact Fields of Faith had in contributing to her boldness and preparation for the time spent with her friend.

So you just never know how God is going to use an event like this is someone's life. I am already promoting and stirring interest for next year. And we thank God for many answered prayers!

God bless,
Gigi
